Rafting down the river Bystraya

The Bystraya, located in the heart of the peninsula, is among the most accessible and interesting rivers for fishers and rafters. The 100-kilometre stretch crosses natural habitats untouched by civilisation, including several easily navigable rapids. Wide, deep pits where salmon rest while on their run to spawn provide fishing opportunities. You can fish either from our inflatable rafts or from the bank.

There is a good chance you will spot a brown bear attracted by salmon. You can fish while travelling down the river or pick up some wild berries or mushrooms during stops, and lucky participants may be able to observe bears fish for salmon, making rafting experience down the Bystraya an exciting, fun activity.
